Create London is a subsidiary of the Create Advertising Group, founded in Los Angeles, California by CEO David Stern, with Partners and Co-Presidents, Carrie Gormley and Jonathan Gitlin.  The London office is headed by Managing Director Suneil Beri, with Associate Director Vijay Sodhi, and Director of Production Tom Lewis.

Motion Graphics Designer

The Role

  • Producing titles and motion graphics for a range of film trailers, TV and social advertising campaigns.
  • Originating creative ideas for a range of projects and be comfortable working with a team to deliver them.
  • Applicants should have a passion for film and all things artistic and an eye for design in everything they do.

The Skills

  • Applicants should have around 2 – 4 years’ practical experience in the field.
  • Significant experience with Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Demonstrable skills in typography and composition.
  • Attention to detail and diligence, along with a drive to succeed in an often pressured but highly rewarding environment.
  • Familiarity with Cinema 4D and a desire to develop 3D skills is a benefit.
  • A solid understanding of professional post production processes as well as a familiarity with film production techniques are beneficial but not essential.

Control Room Assistant

The Control Room is the core of the creative operation.  The team are responsible for supporting the creative departments and ensuring they have the media they need, as well as transferring material to and from clients and between internal and external resources.

This is an entry level position with tremendous growth potential.  It is a great training ground for someone aiming for a career in creative production such as an aspiring motion graphics designer, creative producer, copywriter, music supervisor, post production operator, media technician or video editor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Moving material between departments, ensuring the proper handling of all digital material through the creative process, organising presentations, preparing sequences for post production and handling deliverables.
  • Coordinating asset management between departments.
  • Managing the libraries of sound effects, commercial and production. music and compiling music cue sheets.
  • Ensuring proper organisation of digital assets.
  • Producing deliverables for broadcast, public presentation, online use, client presentations etc.
  • Quality Control.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Attention to detail and diligence
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A drive to succeed in a pressured environment.
  • Some Premiere Pro experience and a familiarity with file formats and the language of digital media.
  • A passion for film,
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks with varying degrees of urgency simultaneously.
  • Undergraduate degree or higher education qualification in film, digital media, media production, post production, creative arts or similar.

OR

  • Around 1 years’ experience working in a creative agency, production company, post production company or similar environment.

Trailer Editor

Main duties & responsibilities

Producing unique high-quality advertising in the form of;

  • Theatrical trailers,
  • TV and radio campaigns,
  • Content for social media platforms,
  • Advertising for digital and outdoor formats.

Required skills

  • Experience producing film trailers and other forms of entertainment advertising.
  • Experience working alone as well as in collaboration with creative producers, creative directors, marketing executives and film makers.
  • Proven experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro.

Experience

  • Prior experience working as an editor cutting specialist short from advertising.
  • Work on campaigns for the major US studios and independent films.
  • Experience cutting for a range of film genres; action, comedy, horror, romance etc.
  • Experience cutting advertising which is narrative, action and music driven.
  • Experience of feature/short film production and/or non-film advertising may be beneficial, but film advertising experience is key.
